Our school has access to two great resources for preparing our kids for the Georgia CRCT.   If you have Internet access, your child can access Study Island or OAS from home as well as school to prepare for the state assessments. We are excited about the potential benefits these program can bring to our students, and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity by using Study Island and OAS.

Mission Statement

We at South Dodge Elementary School believe that all children can learn. We will provide children with a supportive, caring environment that develops self-esteem, self-motivation and a sense of responsibility. We strive to provide every opportunity for maximum student achievement and to recognize and stimulate special talents in all students. The educational environment and the teaching strategies are designed to meet the goals and objectives of a strong curriculum. Our major goal is to prepare students to become responsible citizens and take their place as productive members of the community. We believe that education is a cooperative effort among home, school and community.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our December STUDENTS OF THE MONTH!  Michael’s Deli and Seafood provided you with a FREE Kid’s Meal and a tee shirt.  If you have not already done so, take your family to dine with you and give Michael’s a big “Thank You!”
 
 These students are our December STUDENTS OF THE MONTH from each grade.
Brayden Studstill from Mrs. Joni Braden's 2nd grade class is our SCHOOL’S January STUDENT OF THE MONTH.  He went home with a colorful water bottle from Michael’s Deli and Seafood, as well as, a $20 Wal-Mart gift card sponsored by our very own Activities Committee.
 
We are proud of each of these students and encourage all of you to study hard, behave well, and do your best…………for you just might be February’s Student of the Month!
